Wide rings in fact offer an imposing style, making the ring clearly visible and allowing you to play with the material as we will see in these numerous examples of wide or large custom-made women’s rings, jewelery or not, made in our goldsmith’s workshop.

Large silver rings for women

Silver is a particularly cheap precious metal compared to others such as gold or platinum.

So much so that it lends itself well to the creation of rings of disproportionate dimensions, which can be heavy (between 15 and 20 grams) without excessively impacting the budget.

Here are some examples of these really large rings, which take up the entire phalanx.

Wavy oval top ring

It consists of a “simple” corrugated oval tray, measuring 31 millimeters long by 19 millimeters wide. This tray is mounted on an adjustable ring.

This ring weighs almost 15 grams in solid silver.

Double ring ring

This 20 millimeter long ring is made of two soldered rings, each made of a double winding of a thick 5 millimeter silver wire.

Since the ring size for this project is 50, you will understand that this ring is especially wide and chunky on its owner’s finger.

For this project we created several wax models to study the feasibility of the project based on the diameter of the silver wire taking into account our customer’s expectations.

We then made the rings with silver wire before soldering the two rings thus made together.

To obtain this result once the finishing touches have been carried out on the ring.

Milanese mesh ring

The Milanese shirt had its heyday from the 1930s to the 1970s. However, it is used to make watch straps, bracelets or even this very particular type of ring.

Although it is 15 millimeters wide for a 52 finger, it is not as heavy as previous rings.

We tailor-made it for our customer while this ring model is usually assembled from continuous Milanese mesh produced by machines.

Made by hand, the assembly of this type of net is particularly meticulous and takes a long time if done manually.

Rings engraved in relief

The design of this ring was not made on the ankle, but was sculpted using digital modeling before being 3D printed and then cast in silver.

It is 9 millimeters wide for a finger of only 50, but remains very light. Its design is inspired by the design of our skull ring

This ring is a personalized wedding band embossed with a shamrock, the couple’s names on the sides and a rune at the bottom.

Wide women’s rings in 18k gold

Given the price of gold, almost 40 times more expensive than silver, large gold ring designs are often lightened or airy to stay within our customers’ budgets.

In fact, 18-karat gold is 50% heavier than silver, so much so that a silver ring model worth 1 euro for the weight of the silver metal is worth 60 euros in 18-karat gold.

Wide gold ring that remains thin and light

It is 20 millimeters long for a 52 finger and weighs approximately 4.5 grams. It is made of a thin 1.3mm gold wire wrapped and then reinforced by small discreet props under the ring.

Large but lightweight, this women’s gold ring is not affected by its large length

Golden flower and tree of life ring

Flower of Life ring from our ring collection, with a width of 14 millimeters for a very reasonable gold weight. Its airy design allows you to get a clearly visible ring on your finger while remaining economical.

The Tree of Life ring is 15 millimeters wide for a very reasonable gold weight.

Wide band ring with initials

This band ring is 10 millimeters wide and weighs approximately 9 grams in 18k gold in size 49.

Although less wide than the other rings above, this ring is much heavier as it is solid and the weight of the gold shows.

Square knight for women

Women’s signet ring in 18k white gold with a tray of 15*15 millimeters representing a scorpion modeled in relief on a surface that imitates sand.

This relatively large and massive model is also quite heavy in terms of gold weight, around 20 grams.

Large diamond rings

Diamonds are obviously fascinating, for their bright sparkles, but also for their prices, which become dizzying when we start talking about large diamonds.

A large ring can be set with a solitary diamond or with a multitude of small brilliants, which is often a more economical solution.

Oval diamond

This ring features a 1.7 carat oval main diamond and 50 smaller diamonds set on the posts of the ring.

Flower ring with central diamond solitaire

This ring is composed of a large stem-shaped ring topped by a large flower measuring 13 millimeters in diameter with a small diamond in the center.

Zoomorphic ring with diamonds

Custom made engagement ring in the shape of a lizard 15mm wide and studded with black and white diamonds.

Despite its complex design and its width of 15 millimeters, this 18k gold ring weighs just 5 grams.

Large jewel rings

Gemstones, and especially fine stones, allow you to play with colors and choose stones larger than diamonds without spending too much.

Opal ring

Simple ring composed of a silver ring set with a pear-shaped opal. Measuring 14 millimeters wide, it takes up most of the phalanx to clearly show the stone.

Very large silver ring with real turquoise stone, covering the entire phalanx of the finger. This ring is 22mm long in total.

Amethyst ring in gold and silver

Ring whose band ring is 8 millimeters wide, is topped with an amethyst stone 9 millimeters in diameter. To reproduce the colors while saving on the weight of the gold, the center of the ring is brushed silver and not 18k gold like the rest of the ring.

Wide ethnic rings

The ethnic style lends itself well to the creation of large rings. In the case of these rings, they are Peruvian rings that are not our creation, but that of our fellow jewelers from the Cuzco region of Peru.
